The great thing about Tyvek is that it's paper-like qualities make it perfect for printing. It will take a detailed, multicoloured image really well. This makes it perfect for really decorative wallets and also for wallets printed with useful information.
The London Underground map ticks both 'useful' and 'decorative' boxes at the same time. The iconic stylised Tube map has a unique look that evolved from a design by an electrical engineer. A purely graphical representation, it focuses on the order in which trains reach stations, rather then the geographical location of each station in relation to each other. The bright, primary colours make a complex data set visually accessible and easy to read at a glance. The design is a classic and has be copied all over the world.
Carrying the map printed on a Tyvek Wallet won't be as useful as carrying the complete map with you as bits of the diagram vanish into the credit card pockets or into folds in the wallet, but many of the lines are visible on the outside of the wallet.
